Doc Robot killed Megaman 3 for Me

Megaman 3 is more of the same from the past game, but the level design is much more convoluted and to compensate for this Energy Tanks are spammed through the levels. Since it's more of the same, I am going to jump right into my thoughts:

-The boss route recommended to me on the Megaman Knowledge was a horrid route. Magnetman or Topman as your first pick is the route to ruin.

-Megaman 2 had a lot of fun weapons to use and experiment with. Megaman 3 just has...kind of boring weapons. Shadow Blade and Search Snake are fine, but everything else is just impractical.

-Again, I think the original team that created this game knew there were issues int he level design and just placed Energy Tanks (full health restores) all over the levels to compensate.

-Doc Robot....having to go through four levels again and fighting Megaman 2 enemies with bigger hitboxes is not fun or well thought out. It's this concept and this concept alone that might keep me from every revisiting this game.

-Rush Jet really is an excellent movement item here, and of course the boss you have to fight to get it is not a simple one (Needleman).

-The very final boss, Gamma, being so weak tot eh Top Spin tat it kills him in one hit? That's adorable. I loved how silly that was.

-No really, you can get like six or seven Energy Tank in the last couple levels of the game. I was maxed out way before then.

-I swear this game was made with the NES lag in mind, but because some enemy shots require rapid reflexes.

Megaman 3 was, in a word, "alright". 3/5. C+. Not the best or worst old-school video game I have played, but nothing about it drives me to play it repeatedly.
