Megaman 2 is still good but flawed

I have nitpicks about Megaman 2 after completing it for the Megaman Legacy Collection on Switch, but at the very least I am openly admitting that they are nitpicks.

Sidenote, I thought in my youth I'd already played Megaman 2 when I got it as a gift on the GameBoy so long ago for a Christmas gift, maybe when I was 10 or younger. Little did I know that the GameBoy version was this weird amalgamation of the original MM2 and MM3 and made simplistic. I enjoyed it enough as a kid, and in standard difficult Megaman fashion it took me close to 3-4 weeks to beat the game (figuring out the best boss the fight first, what boss was weak against what weapon, simply making it through he stages, etc). Much like in my youth for a bastardized version of the handheld game, Metalman is the best pick to attack first with the best weapon. So, without further ado, here are my thoughts no one asked for:

-I get why people love the music in this game. It really is that good.

-Once you get the Metal Blades, you have basically beaten the game . It's shocking how good this weapon is due to damage output, speed of use, and being able to fire it in eight different directions.

-The BooBeam Trap is just a poorly designed boss.

- I actually think it's not possible to dodge some of Airman's tornado patterns.

- Same applies for Woodman.

-Yes, I beat the game in Normal mode, and Yes, I would do it again. Not that the game is impossible in normal mode, but it is more "fun" in Normal mode.

-So if you are doing "Buster only" run of this game, some of the bosses are just built with the fact that you will just get hit in mind.

-Rewind button was, again, used liberally.

Overall, I really enjoyed Megaman 2 and I can see why people hold it as the best "Classic series" game. I may return to it one day just to try a different route.
